Babirye Allen Nantongo

Babirye Allen Nantongo is an entrepreneur with five years of experience in business management. She founded and serves at Natures Love Packaging Ltd, where she has and still trains various communities on why and how they can adopt nature-based tools to address issues such as waste management. Allen is passionate about environmental conservation and sustainability with keen interest in green packaging.

Babirye possesses knowledge about policies and tools for driving a green economy, which she acquired from a course offered by the United Nations and a current student of Energy Economics and Governance at Makerere University Business School (MUBS), focusing on the role of energy in food security and food value chains.

As the Innovations Lead at EGF, Babirye leverages her entrepreneurial mindset and creativity to empower and inspire youths and women to create, launch, and manage green businesses and jobs.
