Geofrey Bwambale

Geofrey Bwambale is a professional statistician and seasoned researcher with a focus on education, agriculture, health, and climate—where he has dedicated the past four years to making a significant impact. He holds a postgraduate diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute.

In addition to his professional work, Geofrey serves as a board member of the International Climate Students Movement, a global network of students committed to climate action. He plays a crucial role on the finance committee, where he leads efforts in fundraising and securing donations.

As a certified climate advocate by FXB Climate Advocates USA, Geofrey has acquired deep insights into various aspects of climate change. His passion for addressing climate change is deeply rooted in his commitment to linking climate action with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He is particularly passionate about driving change in his home district of Kasese, Uganda—an area that is particularly vulnerable to climate impacts.

Currently, Geofrey is the Project Lead at Ekcians GreenLyf Foundation in Uganda, where he leads the implementation of projects from inception to maturity. His work is focused on empowering grassroots communities, including youth, women, and men, to build resilience and drive sustainable development.
